  2. Okay, okay. This one ROCKS my socks off!

I'm already obsessed with photos taken of the outside through windows and doors, and you've done a phenomenal job framing this. And the Sepia quality with the slightly bluish sky is perfection, but the bicycle! GENIUS!

Once I'm back to America and a little less poor, this is so going on my wall!

  4. PS How on earth did you time that?? Did you just get lucky, spot him from afar, or did he pose for you???

  5. Wow, guys! Thanks a ton! I, too, am in love with this photo. This was one of those moments when I took it (and a couple of other shots of the cyclist passing by) and my heart just about leapt out of my chest with excitement. I love photographic moments like that. :)

And this shot was mostly luck. I was taking photos of this arch way with the sun coming directly into my lens, and at first, a person walked by, and I thought that really added to the shot. And THEN, this cyclist came by as I had my camera ready and was already shooting. Awesome!

Sometimes, getting that shot is nothing but pure luck and persistence.

  6. Yeah, this one is my favorite. I feel like there should be something at the top that says something like, "Perseverance: blah blah blah whatever those posters say." Or it could be like those unmotivational posters and say something like, "Shadows, they'll always be your friend since no one else wants to ride bikes with you."

  7. Erika, that's hilarious! And if and when I ever sell this as a demotivator with that sentiment, I'll be sure to give you credit. :)
